I liked the price, but reaching to the leisure facilities is not easy. Reception lobby is quite far away from the hotel, actually there are from another DIVI resort
Our acsess to the beach and shopping
The bed was to hard to sleep on
Beach is quite and there are plenty of lounge chairs on the beach. Access to the pool at the Golf Village is a big plus.
Not enough shade huts to accomodate people on the beach. The facilities are in desparate need of updating, refreshing, ie painting, wallpaper.
The size of the room
The front desk service and explanation given on certain matters.
The location, close to the beach, town and restaurants. The room was nice and clean.
No free WIFI, it's 2012, you should not have to pay for that service
Near the beach.
Wifi connection very poor and too expensive
Clean, great location, rooms were comfortable.
There were not any shops or restaurants in walking distance. Check in desk should be closer to the units.
We like this hotel because it is approximately 20 to 30 yards walking distance to the beautiful sand beach. The Tamarijn resort is better (all the rooms are facing to the ocean and 5 feet from the sand beach) but you need to pay higher fee/price. We booked 2 bedrooms suite and it was very comfortable. It has 1 1/2 kitchens, 2 1/2 baths, and large living room. The Divi Dutch Village is very close to the supermarkets (across the street about 5 minutes walk) and a few restaurants. The bus line is in front of the hotel resort which is very convenient to go to downtown visiting historical sites, shopping, and restaurants ($1.50 one-way to downtown). The weather was kind of cold for the week we stayed (Dec 17-23). It's supposed to be warm but it was raining everyday and chilly at night and very windy if you travel to the north side (need a light jacket though).
This hotel facility is old and beat up (it is in the renovation process). The golf course across the street is better because it is newer (but you have to cross the traffic light every time going to the sand beach). There are a lot of hotels around the area for better price if you do not swim everyday. The island is very expensive...we spent almost $700 for 4 days just for food and drinks only for 3 of us...not worth it. Hawaii is better. No internet. You need to pay $15 per day which is very expensive!!!
Kamers waren heel erg vies.
Do restaurante onde jantamos.
